"Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a ladder, it will live its whole life believing it's stupid." - Albert Einstein
As educators, we stand as catalysts as we facilitate students' knowledge and development. It is our mission to recognize students potential, habits, attributions, self-perceptions and value as we support their development of knowledge. Each student holds different interests about a subject, which influences their responses when faced with questions.
This all depends on the nature of the student's activity and what draws their attention. Once these are identified, educators can then help them learn to use the resources they have to develop the knowledge and the value necessary for working with these tasks.
