During my block week at practicum I discovered a new app/website to add to my future teaching repertoire. It is called "10 Monkeys", it is a web-based math practicing program that makes learning math easy and fun. 10 Monkeys is designed specially for elementary school students from kindergarten to grade 4.
10 Monkeys, offers high quality math content delivered to young students in a motivating and fun way. There are tens of thousands of math activities and over 250 types of different exercises. It tracks students progress in a student friendly way for them to have an understanding of where they are at after completing an exercise.
The students in my grade 3 placement classroom loved this program and looked forward to playing it on their classroom chrome books! I have bookmarked the website for my future use!
