Mental Health effects with Online Learning and Impact on children

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the majority of schools from around the world have transitioned to online learning. Initially, many thought the transition would be seamless but as time progressed it became more difficult for many children and teachers, parents, and professors noticed the impact it may have on their mental health.

Online Learning can cause fatigue and increased states of anxiety and stress which can be due to the lack of social interaction children have when they are at home. This can greatly affect the child's communication and social skills which can have a negative impact on learning.

To assist with the child's mental health, parents can implement a few strategies while they are at home which include increasing the child's physical activity, taking breaks in between classes and self-care.
