It is important as an educator to control the classroom environment and make sure the students are focusing on the task at hand. By keeping the students focused on the task at hand this can create calmness in the classroom and promote a healthy learning environment.
By incorporating mindfulness in the classroom this can create social and emotional learning amongst students and can help boost their overall confidence and self-esteem. The benefits that students gain from mindfulness can have lasting effects both in and out of the classroom.
