Read Aloud Books + YouTube

In a world where we are surrounded by the internet it is evident that technology has massively evolved. When thinking about our future classrooms it is important to recognize the benefits of using technology to teach and engage our children in daily lesson plans. A small but great example would be the use of read aloud books. Incorporating read aloud books in language and literacy is not only educational but it is fun and engaging too. Integrating technology into the classroom has many benefits to children and their learning, but most importantly it engages children in lesson's further by creating a more engaged and collaborative environment. 


                                  


Scholastic is a great tool to use that highlights 100 best recommended read aloud books for children. The website provides free reading resources and can be filtered based on age and grade.

YouTube is also another great platform for primary and junior educators to use when searching or playing visual read aloud books.
