Put together by experts in digital safety Google, iKeepSafe, ConnectSafely, and FOSI (Family Online Safety Institute) to ensure that every element of the program addresses what families and educators need to know. Interland is an adventure-packed online game that makes learning about digital safety and citizenship interactive and fun.
To make the most of the Internet, kids need to be prepared to make smart decisions. Be Internet Awesome teaches kids the fundamentals of digital citizenship and safety so they can explore the online world with confidence.
By playing this online game, kids will learn to:
Be internet SMART – share with care, communicate resposibly
Be internet ALERT – don't fall for fake
Be internet STRONG – secure your secrets
Be internet KIND – it's cool to be kind
Be internet BRAVE – when in doubt, talk it out
Be Internet Awesome Curriculum:
Educators teaching online safety in the classroom can even download lesson plans that have received the ISTE Seal of Alignment and classroom activities that bring the fundamental lessons to life.
Be Internet Awesome Pledge:
Parents driving the online safety conversation at home can encourage the entire family to get on the same page by reviewing the fundamentals and taking this pledge together.
