Storytime with Ryan & Craig

Storytime with Ryan & Craig is a free, short-form reading show for children, parents & educators. Every week, Ryan and Craig read aloud a new children’s book. This show is different from other read aloud videos for several reasons: First, it’s hosted by not one, but two men, which is fairly uncommon in the literacy and early education world. This offers a new dynamic to inspire and excite both boys and girls about reading!

Second, Ryan and Craig are working writer/director/actors in Los Angeles with years of creating comedy under their belts. Their sense of humor and on-camera personas are big, engaging and fun! They use silly voices, big emotions, improvised dialogue and sometimes a capella songs, which makes them a one-of-a-kind viewing experience. Ryan & Craig don’t play down to children during their read alouds, but instead try and genuinely discover what makes them excited about each book and highlight those aspects. Their passion and authenticity has the effect of engaging children without alienating grown-ups. It’s sorta like the Pixar of live reading shows!
