For the Vintage Gamer in You - Part 1

Here is a vintage game you will enjoy - Yes, you the teacher will enjoy them.  More importantly though, your students will absolutely love this game.  It is meant for K-3 level kids, but I found my Gr. 8 kids have a hoot with this one.  Hint:  Tell your students that they will really stink at this game and they will fail and fail and fail ... they will fail at least 50 times.  They will not succeed, YET.  Remind them that with practice, patience, learning from one's mistake, success will come and it will be sweet when it does.  Enjoy, I'm going to play it a bit now!

This online DOS game from the late 1980s – Fantastic and worth going to right now! This is great for Primary kids (Pre K, Kindergarten right up to Grade 3). I can't believe how much fun they still are and so easy to play and easy for a teacher to play too.  Enjoy Math Rescue ... do your addition, subtraction, and word problems and have fun.

Use the Arrow keys to move: Left, Right, Up (jump/climb), Down (climb down). You can use the up and left/right keys together to jump and pretty much fly across left or right

These “cheats” will work in either the shareware or the registered versions of the game. Key combinations have to be pressed at the same time.

Pressing E, L, M - pressing these together gives you more LIDS and SLIDES ... you'll need them!

Pressing P, A, M - Level warp. When you hit this combination, the game will freeze. Press a number here, and you will be taken to that level. You will not be able to see the number when you are typing it.

Pressing the [+] or [-] keys will speed up or slow down the game appropriately.
