Starfall - Intrinsically Motivating and Confidence-Building

Starfall is an educational website primarily for children in kindergarten to grade three. It is a free website that can be accessed anywhere at any time. Starfall teaches basic reading and writing skills by providing children with fun, educational games, songs, and phonics. It also provides children with math activities. Starfall is easily accessible to teachers and allows them to be creative with their teaching. 

 

This website not only contains everyday learning activities, but it also offers seasonal activities such as Halloween, Valentine's day, and Thanksgiving fun! Starfall engages students and provides them with the educational tools they need to learn. The website is packed with appealing visuals, music, welcoming content, and overall collaborative learning activities. 

Starfall activities are research based and align with individual and Common Core State standards in English language arts and mathematics. Starfall is especially effective for those with special needs, English language development needs and/or learning disabilities. Overall, Starfall is a fantastic website that allows students to become intrinsically motivated and confident in their learning.
