What is Scratch?
Scratch is an interactive website where kids can program their own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share their creations with others in the online community.
Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.
Scratch is designed, developed, and moderated by the Scratch Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Scratch is free for all to use and interact with so be it at home or in the classroom. Scratch also builds the foundation for young people to get involved in coding.
