It is important to recognize our cultures, share our similarities and celebrate all our differences in an emerging multicultural society. There are many ways to embrace our cultures in schools and that starts from being open-minded and diverse in our ways of thinking and teaching. By embracing and shining a light on diversity in our classrooms we are driving more discussions and evidently embracing positive changes in our classrooms, communities and individual lives.
