Confidence Sticky Note Activity

In class, I witnessed a group presenting on the topic on confidence engage the entire class in an activity through the use of sticky notes. This activity was designed to engage students with their classmates and boost their confidence. Students sitting in groups of four or five were handed sticky notes where they were asked to write down a kind personalized message to each student in their group and hand them the sticky note. Not only did this activity allow students to receive a compliment which is sure to boost their confidence but allowed students to give one out as well which sometimes can increase confidence just as much. This activity engaged the entire classroom and brought a smile to every student's face. Some students even kept their sticky notes with them for weeks to come which just shows the value one compliment can hold.
