As the Winter months approach it is important to find resources that our students will find enjoyable and engaging. Especially when focusing on the arts; as we need to make sure our students stay active and refreshed during these darker months. From conversations and open faculty discussions I have learned that many educators who do not have a background in the arts, find it difficult to locate dance and drama resources.
In the first three links below you will find song and dance (both for drama and dance) suitable for elementary level students. Using these resources, students can sing, act and dance the scenes in groups. If educators are looking for a final presentation or performance students can perform the acts consecutively with one another.

If you are an educator looking for a dance brain break rather than full performance opportunity for your students, check out the links below! These resources offer follow along videos which will teach your students dance moves and then have them participate in a fun game of freeze dance. Perfect for lower elementary grades.
