Why Kids Need Recess
Recess is important for children; it allows them to break from learning and engage with friends. Recess contributes to children's physical activity levels, gives them a break from their academic work, and offers children a chance to improve their social skills. Recess is a regularly scheduled break period during the school day that allows children to engage in physical activity and play with their peers.
There are many benefits for students when they have recess.
