TVO Learn is a free website that offers engaging and customizable up-to-date curriculum-aligned resources for K to Grade 12 in disciplines such as math, science, language, social studies, and more! The resources on TVO Learn are organized by grade level and subject and offer learning activities aligned with all curriculum strands, resources, such as videos, consolidation prompts, and vocabulary on each area of the curriculum strand. In addition, TVO Learn also offers Health and Wellness resources for teachers to utilize in the classroom (boredom busters, movement, and health tips activities)! TVO Learn is an excellent resource for lesson planning for teachers, as it offers minds-on, action-on, and consolidation learning activities – why reinvent the wheel when TVO Learn provides everything to be a successful, organized and impactful teacher! All content is developed by TVO Ontario Certified Teachers.
As a future educator, TVO Learn has helped me become more confident in lesson planning and has provided me with frameworks for successful and effective lesson planning.
