QECO in Ontario
QECO serves teachers who are members of AEFO, ETFO, OECTA, and OSSTF by recognizing their commitment to education and their professional development. QECO is the organization that determines how much you'll get paid!
All teachers who are members of the above-sponsoring affiliates need to be evaluated by QECO to obtain a salary category placement between Category A and Category A4.
A QECO evaluation is based on individual academic achievement, as determined by Program 5. Teachers submit their documentation to QECO and then you wait.
QECO only communicates with the teacher. After receiving a new QECO evaluation, it is a teacher’s responsibility to submit the QECO Statement of Evaluation to their school board for salary category placement.
You need to know this stuff - if you want to get paid or know what you'll need to do to get paid more, visit the QECO website and get informed >>>> https://qeco.ca/
