The pandemic has affected students' abilities to share their voices and create social interactions with others. However, Flipgrid is an amazing online application that students and educators can use to do just that in order to make online learning more enjoyable. Its sole purpose is to allow its users to express themselves and share their thoughts and ideas on an interactive platform. Students and educators are able to create and share short videos and respond to others' posts. The application also allows individuals to be as creative as possible as they have the ability to use lenses (e.g., filters), digital backgrounds, music, and gifs to express themselves.
An easier way to explain this is that Flipgrid is like Snapchat but approved for educational purposes. Educators are able to create rooms so that class discussions are in a controlled and safe environment where only those who have access to the digital classroom can see the posts.
