Mentimeter is an interactive presentation software. It is a great way for students to include mobile devices into their learning. According to commonsensemedia.org, a majority (53%) of kids have their own smartphone by the time they are 11.
Mentimeter allows students to participate in surveys, quizzes, polls, presentations, word clouds, games and more. The app enables users to share knowledge and real-time feedback with presentations, polls or brainstorming sessions in classes, meetings, gatherings and other group activities. Teachers can also track learning progress by downloading the results of their activities. There is a free version of this app with very basic features. For more advanced features, there are subscription fees.
