Why should educators make sure their classroom is inclusive? Inclusive classrooms tailors teaching for all learners, makes differences less different, provides support to all students and lastly creates high expectations for all. How can educators? A few examples are; define clear rules for behaviour and enforce those rules consistently, deal with children who misbehave in a sensitive way, create opportunities to listen to all children, be aware of the specific needs of every child in your class, provide support for them in ways which benefit all students in your class, create a calm and supportive environment.
