Here is an activity an instructor could use to warm up their students' brains and get them ready to learn.
Students can form groups and choose a category. Categories can be anything they choose. Some examples include fruits, colours, countries, places, animals, hobbies, etc. Each group member will take turns naming an item from the chosen category. For example: If the category is fruits, one member can say strawberry and another could say lemon. Group members will go in a circle and continue naming items until a member repeats an item that has already been named. Once this happens, that group member is OUT. The group will continue going until there is one person left and that person is the winner.
